We have added three new large bowl molds to open studio….here’s the largest, clocking in at 14 inches across! Can you see pasta, salads, or fruit in this one?
Our summer kids fusing classes kick off Thursday with a coaster making day plus a bonus…..shhhhhh, it’s a secret….they will make two coasters PLUS an adorable-a-bowl! We still have a few seats for this drop-in class, Thursday 10am to 3pm. See the website for full details and registration.
What happens when eight fun, creative, fabulous ladies join us on a Saturday night for a birthday party? We won’t tell. (What happens in glass class stays in glass class!). Let’s just say there was food, wine, and laughter….lots of laughter!
Last weekend’s Basics class did an excellent job learning and creating. Our smallest student honored her parents with a piece showing them in love – how cute is that?
Some residents of Asbury Methodist Village, a local senior community, took part in a class in their art center last week. It was so much fun, and their work is beautiful! We hope to return soon, and share glass with more residents.
These ladies came together but made two very different, and very beautiful big bowls…we can’t pick a favorite!
We opened the kiln today and squealed with delight! Last night we hosted Friday Night Fuse and everyone made pendants with copper in them….copper rings, flake, scrubbies, lots and lots of copper…can’t wait to clean these up and glue on the bails. Nice job, ladies!
