Fused glass open studio today was packed! We hosted families, couples, individuals, and we were all hopping the whole five hours. Everything was beautiful, but these 2×2 inch magnets are over the top – such detail and workmanship!
For 2018, we have new glass colors (midnight blue, canary yellow, and petal pink), new classes coming soon (photos on glass, bent lamp shade and more) and new molds….these four are just the start of your Open Studio options!
For Ornament Class time, we added a space for coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. It was a big hit…kids smiled, adults relaxed and warmed, and it just felt right to add this small gesture to our space for students and visitors. Thirty sheets of glass were delivered yesterday, in the 60 degree sunshine, and they are so beautiful! Some old standbys and new colors….midnight blue, canary yellow, and petal pink. We will be test firing them this week and adding them to the shelves for Open Studio the 28th!

Two best friends attended a mosaic class yesterday, and these 13 year olds showed the adults how it’s done! We are looking forward to seeing the grouted result!

Last night, members of two local Meet Up groups warmed the studio with their creativity, friendliness, and enthusiasm. It was a wonderful night, and we can’t wait to get their work into the kilns! Thanks, ladies!
